Program Description

Use the supplies given to design a simple machine to 'harvest' candy corn. You will create a machine that can pick up and move candy corn from one container to another without leaving any marks, dents, or holes in the corn.

Supplies include plastic forks, craft sticks, clothespins, rubber bands and candy corn.

Pick up your kit beginning on Monday, Oct. 5, then attend our virtual zoom meeting on Saturday, Oct. 10, at 1 p.m. to discuss how you solved the challenge and see how others solved it! Register to receive the zoom link.

One kit per child in grades K-8. Please call the East Hills Library to arrange a pick up time through our contactless service. Supplies limited.
