Week Calendar

Children aged 0-6 and their caregivers are invited to learn and play together in the East Hills Storytime Room with the early literacy toy collection.

Children ages birth to 8 and their grown-ups are invited to come and join the fun! We will enjoy some stories and a craft at the Downtown Library.

Go on a Scenic Cruise from our theater seats each first Monday of the summer months! We'll watch an episode of "Scenic Cruises of the World' and taste test some food from the places we 'traveled' on our armchair adventure.

Teens! Come hang out in a casual atmosphere on the second Friday of the summer months. There will be various activities available to choose from including video games, board games, cartoons, movies, and/or crafts. Snacks provided!

Join us to play games on the switch! 

This week we will be doing a Super Smash Bros Tournament

Gather your friends and spend some time together around the FAKE fire and listen to "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark" while you make elevated s'mores. Come celebrate National S'mores day with us.

If you and your child enjoy crafts, games, movies and a variety of fun activities, get to Washington Park Library for Tricky Tuesday! 

Do you love to do jigsaw puzzles? We do too! But what do you do with the ones you have completed? Now's your chance to swap some you have done with some new to you puzzles at this puzzle swap!

Our weekly movie event is hosted by professional movie critic Bob Shultz. This week’s movie is Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire (2024) 125 Minutes, PG-13. 

Before Facebook and email, we enjoyed exchanging letters and postcards with penpals around the world. There's something to be said for putting pen to paper and saying hello to someone in a faraway land.
