Write Into Art - Creative Writing Inspired By Art

Discover how visual art can inspire creative writing and how writing can offer a powerful way to experience the arts. Join Wendy Jane Bantam, writer, visual artist and founding director of The Outlook Project and Teaching Artist in Residence with the Kennedy Center, for a writing workshop that explores essential elements of writing and styles of close looking, word sketching and imagination.

The session, made possible by the Friends of the Missouri Theater and St. Joseph Public Library, will spotlight visual art in architecture chosen to inspire adult writers of all experience levels to deepen process and practice.
