Program Description

Program Description

In this talk Dr. Katie East will take you through the process by which a forensic anthropologist would help to determine the circumstances around death, and how those same principles can be applied to ancient settings. Together we will review the new evidence available in several high-profile cases of potentially violent death ranging from predynastic times to the Ramesside period to assess whether there is evidence of murder in ancient Egypt.
