Week Calendar

Get up close and personal with cool trucks, big vehicles, and meet some of our community helpers at our Touch-A-Truck event! We'll be set up across from the East Hills Library, in the former Dillard's parking lot. 

Children ages 2-6 years and their grown-ups can learn while playing at our weekly Messy Munchkins sessions in June and July.

Join local historian and preservationist Cole Woodbury as he takes you through St. Joseph's rich history with historic postcards. 

Join us Tuesday in July starting July 11th (we're closed on the 4th of July) as we discuss From the Mixed-up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler by E.L. Konigsburg. Copies of the books will be handed out at the first meeting.

Join us as we do crafts in the park outside the library. Intended for all ages. In the case of rain or extreme heat the event will be moved indoors.

Take and make kits of leftover crafts will be available while supplies last.

Want to be more sociable this summer? Join us as we hang out drinking coffee and tea and discuss whatever we want to. Feel free to bring your knitting, crocheting, etc.

Watch the classic Steven Spielberg hit, E.T. in an interactive way! We'll have props and activities to go along with the film. 

Please register so that we'll have enough prop bags. For all ages.

Our weekly movie event is hosted by professional movie critic Bob Shultz. This week’s movie is Return of the Jedi (1983) 133 minutes, PG. 

This month will be all about how much you know about some of the worst things that have happened. This is trivia for people who know terrible things, but will still be lots of fun!

Cool off with the staff from the St. Joseph Public Library for an end of Summer Reading Ice Skating Party at Bode Ice Arena.  Admission is free!  The fun is priceless!  All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Book Club sponsored by the Friends of the Library. Carnegie librarian Jenny Ellis will host the virtual cozy mystery book club Murder, She Read. July's book will be Death Checked Out by Leah Dobrinska. The author will be joining us.
