Friends of SJPL Vintage & Collectible Book Sale. 

The sale is for 3 days only and will be held in the Book Sale Room on the Lower Level of the Downtown Library. 

Make new friends and enjoy fun-filled activities at Washington Park Library's Preschool Storytime! Join Ms. Willa and Ms. Halee for stories, crafts, songs, dancing, puppets and more each and every Monday at 10 a.m.! 

Get ready to sing, dance, read, and have so much fun with Ms. Misty for preschool Storytime at the East Hills Library!

Activities will be geared toward ages 3-6.

Featuring fun crafts that maybe wacky for the time of year. Available every Wednesday. While supplies last.

Not recommended for children under 3.

The Book Buddies Pony Express Therapy Dogs, in partnership with the East Hills Library, are offering children a way to improve their reading skills in a unique and fun environment.

BYOB: Bring your own books!  If you like to talk about books you are reading, join us for an informal discussion about what you have been reading.  Diana will have a show and tell about new and exciting books in the library that you can

Join Mindi L. Smith, Certified Organizational Specialist™️, to learn how to declutter and organize your photograph collection. You can optionally bring some photos to work on during the workshop.

Did you know wildflowers are pretty and attract helpful bees and insects? Come celebrate Earth Day with us! Plant wildflowers seeds to take home and start your very own flower garden!

Program best for children 3-10 years old. 

If you and your child like a variety of crafts, games and movies, join us every Tuesday at Washington Park library! Children of all ages are welcome to attend Tricky Tuesday. 

Celebrate May Day at the library! Create a unique upcycled 'flower' arrangement on canvas. For grades K-6, while supplies last, no registration required. 

The Teen Advisory Board is for teens in grades 6th-12th.

It's never too late to learn a new language! Join us for these free Spanish classes at the library every Monday evening for five weeks. Registration is required, reserve your spot today!
