Program Description

Join us outside at Washington Park Library for a free showing of Star Wars: A New Hope.

Bring your lawn chair & blanket to this all-ages event. Free popcorn is provided, while supplies last. Weather permitting, please check the library's web calendar or Facebook page for a cancellation notice.

It is a period of great celebration as we invite you to our outdoor showing of this galactic battle in the sky. On the evening of Saturday, May 28, we will be celebrating the 45th anniversary of spaceships and robots on the big screen and you've never seen it this way before.

Cheer with us as our heroes rise up to find and rescue the bun-haired princess, or as she rescues them! Be sure to bring your own laser sword to fend off the evil cloaked shadowy figure as he appears on the screen.
