The Storytime Room is the largest meeting room at Washington Park Library. It has a small performance stage area, Wifi, audio/visual equipment, and retractable screen. It is accessible by interior stairs or the elevator. Restrooms and water fountain are available near the meeting room. The room contains some original oak furnishings that are fixed in place. Rooms may not be available on a walk-in basis, depending on available staff and other activities going on in the library. It's always best to call the library at 232-2052 if you are needing a room on short notice.
Equipment
The Storytime Room has audio/visual equipment, including a ceiling mounted projector, retractable screen and podium.
Seating
The Washington Park Library has 92 folding chairs and 9 folding tables that are shared between the Storytime Room and the Club Room. There are also children’s plastic chairs if needed.
