The Classically Speaking series is a monthly program designed to share stories from the various educational fields known as the liberales artes. All aboard as Sarah Elder presents a brief history of railroads leading up to the Transcontinental Railroad and the role, or lack thereof, St. Joseph played. She will also outline the railroad's impact on Missouri and St. Joseph. Designed for adults, bring your curiosity as we cultivate knowledge outside the classroom in an accessible and exam-free space.
