Join us on a Literary Adventure as we learn about the balloons of The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

"Balloons Over Broadway," written and illustrated by Melissa Sweet, tells the amazing story of Tony Sarg, the incredible puppeteer and marionette master who created the first Macy’s larger-than-life parade balloons in 1928. After we read the book, we will do several activities related to it, including creating puppets that we can parade through the library!  

All welcome, but best for ages 3-9.
